Every report provides an ultimate guide to the project itself. A status report establishes the condition and situation of the project. It is either considered progressive or non progressive. A progress report shows how the project is moving in a given time span. Often time it includes charts and tables so that the progress of the project is easily visualize. On the other hand, a forecast report indicates the estimation and prediction of the things that might happen in the project. Forecast can be based on the present status of the project however it is not always possible that forecast reports can be that accurate. However many still relies on it because it serves as a guide of some possible events that might occur within the project.
