Rose’s theory of Lesson Drawing

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-autospace: none; line-height: 200%"> <font face="Arial"><span style="font-size: 12pt">The students will produce a report based on their chosen case studies in which they identify future developments and trends and apply and evaluate Rose’s theory of Lesson Drawing. Rose (1993, p 13) suggests a lesson is not a disjointed set of ideas about what to do. It requires a cause-and-effect model or at least an association showing how a programme, or lesson designed on the basis of experience elsewhere can be of use to other areas.  In creating a conceptual model of how programmes deal with specific problems the models should not describe a lesson’s  “attributes using words that are nation-specific.
