Schools and other institution have done tremendous changes to intellectually incapacitated individual, their nurturing is unique and specialized, the teachers have all the knowledge, ability and patience to cope up to these kinds of students and they are highly trained to do a very critical mission to handle a different job. They play a very important role to lead the path of a child in a more straight direction than they have today. A teacher in this kind of field should have a specific qualification and specialization to make the work more effective.

Some schools may require teachers to have a board exam passing qualification or years of experience in the field. Some schools may even required an authentic recertification and re evaluation from previous teaching experience so as to prove their especial qualification, but some school may only required a basic teaching experience but has the ability to handle this type of special children.

Parents and guardians may also be assured that they are expert in this field and they are the most qualified person to do the job.       These teachers must be open to students that they do not take advantage about the condition of the children and must maintain a high level of tolerance but tender touch, abusive behavior like physical and verbal contact should not be used in the classroom for students like this type have also emotions and can burst in anger if provoked, they can be more severe in dealing with teachers with low tolerance so they need to maintain their composure or better enjoy their job genuinely in dealing with students.

All their plans and action is more refined than ordinary teachers for they will be the only role model inside the classroom. Their materials are well prepared, they uses a more special visual approach in learning. When they encountered so much problem they can still stand up and be passionate about their works only for the benefits of the children and they should be proud about it.

Inside the classroom children can trust them and love them just like an extended family. Their moral obligation is focused basically on the transformation and revival of the intellect of the children. Teacher’s personal tender loving care is also a very important qualification in this type of job for this is more important than just a technical learning experience but a personal option to learn to love their students by giving them a genuine concern and interest to teach them by understanding their behavior.

Students can learn from them the skills that will help them to be as independent as possible through constant training and practical methods of teaching. Their emphasis is more on functional rather than curriculum and parents see’s the difference during the course and they are thankful about it.  Their program highly includes social interaction and communication skills for positive developmental approach in teaching them an appropriate and timely manner.
