Evaluate the expression if a = -5, b = 2 ½ , c = -1/2 and d = 15.
19. a + (-b) + c
= -5 + (-5/2) + (-1/2)
= -8
20. b + (-d) + (-a)
= 5/2 + (-15) + 5
= -7 ½ or – 15/2
21. –a + b + (-c)
= (5) + (2 ½) + (1/2)
= 8
22. –b + d+ a
= -5/2 + 15 + (-5)
= 7 ½ or 15/2
